'It's Britney Bitch'

Let me just begin by saying that I honestly cannot remember a time of having so much fun in my life! On Tuesday morning I wake up to my alarm blaring at 5:00 a.m. Now I know what you're thinking. . .  "5:00 a.m.!! Hit the snooze button!" Well normally I would but not that morning. IT'S BRITNEY SPEARS DAY and have to get to Salt Lake City!!! I quickly shower and pack a small bag for my quick overnight trip to Logan/Salt Lake for the concert.

I arrived in Logan close to 1:00 p.m. after the beautiful drive from Helena and meet up with Whitney. We waste no time before jumping right back into the car and heading off to Salt Lake City. First item of business, The Old Spaghetti Factory! Eating there has become a tradition and is probably one of the best traditions I have ever heard of :) ha ha. I order my Spinach Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce (like always) and get my calorie intake for the week! After our delicious lunch we take our full bellies to The Gateway. It rained on us all afternoon but we shopped 'til we dropped. . . thank goodness for my tax return!
"OMG! It's already 7:00 p.m!" Time to make our way to the Energy Solutions Arena and wait for Miss Britney. . .

A quick photo session before the concert was only necessary! The Pussycat Dolls got us all warmed up and feelin' sexy for Britney. They sang the hits "Buttons", "The Beep Song", Stick Wit You", and "When I Grow Up"! Talk about a good time. . . every seat in the arena was packed and there wasn't a person who wasn't dancing and getting freaky! We couldn't even believe that it was so much fun and Britney hadn't even started yet ha ha. We were about to see one hell of a show!

T - 2 Days

This has hit me like a ton of bricks. I feel bitter-sweet about moving away from what I have come to know as my home. I started my life in Logan seeking independence, freedom and new experiences. I got a full dose of all of those three things and so much more! Did I make mistakes? Yes. Did I change? Yes. Were there times I wanted to quit? Yes. Do I regret the journey? No. I have truly grown up here.
From August 2007 to March 2009 I. . .
- have bottomed out my car more than I thought possible. I cringe everytime I turn off of Main Street.
- saw more dudes who tan and shave their legs than should ever be allowed!
- had my heart broken
- mended that broken heart
- became a pretty darn good bowler (198 is my highest score to date. . . watch out PBA!)
- lived with roommates who are now my bestest friends
- lived completely on my own
- fell in love with The Spaghetti Factory
- attained a college degree with a 4.0 GPA
- learned that there is no place like home

Even though I am clicking my heels together to get me back, I will always look back to my life in Logan and smile.

Jumpin' on the Band Wagon

Never in my life have I heard of 'blogging'. . . that is until I started work at Conservice. My coworkers introduced me to what I know will become my drug of choice. Internet communication has never been my fortay. Hands down, I prefer a convo via phone or take a friend out to lunch to catch up on the latest news, gossip, funny occurances, and heartache. Now that I will be moving over 400 miles away from all the friends I have made in Logan, I need the perfect way to keep in touch! Thanks my fellow bloggers. . . this is going to be FUN!
